IA #3 update

HL students - you can't say that I never post!

I am just now starting to grade your 3rd IA ... sigh.  I hope to finish before class tomorrow, but if I don't you'll be able to see your results on the day of the final exam.  In that case, I will give you a final progress report on the day of the final to get signed and return the next morning (Friday). 

I'm sure you are very busy studying for all of your final exams.  The work you did on Friday was noteworthy.  The class time on Monday will be yours to continue reviewing.

IA #1

I doubt anyone will read this, but I wanted to share that I am making progress on grading IA #1.  Although I've been up since 4 AM, I just finished the 4th out of 12.  I do have other things I need to do today, but I will continue grading these and somehow get them done today.  I'll post scores in gradespeed when I finish and you'll be able to read my commentary tomorrow.  Overall, they look quite good - keep in mind that this does not mean I am anticipating a lot perfect scores.  Remember that a score of 16 out of 20 is actually very good.  I can tell that a lot of time and effort was put into these papers - I recognize and appreciate this!

If anyone happens to read this tonight ... please hang in there as you finish your first IA. 
I hope you don't stay up all night!  My inbox is empty ... I'm hoping that is a good sign??

The problems that were assigned for group solutions tomorrow can definitely be done spontaneously tomorrow during class (i.e., don't do the problem before class).

School starts tomorrow!

The first day of the 2011-2012 school year is Monday, August 22.  You will start in your advocacy class at 7:40 AM and then go to each of your classes for an abbreviated period.

As you will see on your schedule, I have moved to room S-365 on the third floor.

I am looking forward the the start of what I am certain will be an outstanding year!
